An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide essential behavioral support services within a school setting in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about helping students succeed through evidence-based behavioral interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and accurately record data on student progress and behaviors
- Assist in developing social, communication, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions
Qualifications:
- Current RBT certification in good standing
- Experience working in school environments supporting children with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data collection methods
- Ability to follow detailed treatment plans with fidelity
