Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children or students with behavioral or developmental needs
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt strategies to individual student needs and classroom environments
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to student progress and well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavioral responses daily
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students within classrooms or specialized settings
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to modify interventions for maximum effectiveness
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments
- Foster a respectful, encouraging, and safe learning atmosphere
