A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide essential support services in a school setting located in Lincoln, Rhode Island. This contract position offers the chance to work directly with students, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavioral programs designed by BCBAs to support students individualized needs
- Collect and record data accurately to monitor progress
- Assist in creating positive learning environments that promote students' social and academic growth
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure effective treatment plans
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island RBT certification is required
- Experience working with children with developmental or behavioral challenges preferred
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols accurately
