Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is highly preferred
• Experience working as a Paraprofessional or in a similar classroom support role
• Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students individually or in small groups, assisting with academic tasks and behavior management
• Collaborate with special education teachers, school psychologists, and other staff to implement instructional and behavioral strategies
• Document student progress and behavior as required, maintaining clear and confidential records
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages growth, independence, and positive social interactions
• Assist in daily classroom activities, transitions, and routines across both elementary and high school settings
