Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
- Prior experience in school settings or working with children/adolescents is highly valued
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with students, staff, and families
- Capable of maintaining thorough data collection and documentation
- Adaptable and organized when working in dynamic educational settings
- Compassion, patience, and a student-centered mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and group ABA interventions with K-12 students, as guided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and record data on student behavior and program effectiveness
- Support positive behavior plans and reinforcement strategies to optimize learning
- Communicate updates and progress with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation using approved protocols
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment for all students
