Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support students in a school-based setting near Kingston, Pennsylvania.

Position Details

  • School-based behavioral health support
  • Full-time opportunity
  • Provide behavioral and educational support to students
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies and support positive student outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and other members of the student support team
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment

Qualifications

The BHT must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Hold a certification as a BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst); or
  • Hold a certification as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician); or
  • Hold a certification as a BCAT (Board Certified Autism Technician); or
  • Hold a behavior analysis certification from an organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI); or
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List, as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who must be certified as a BCBA or BCaBA; or
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of ABA-related training approved by the Department or provided by a continuing education provider approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
