Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children and adolescents, ideally in an educational environment
- Familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and implementation
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and record data accurately and confidentially
- Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one and/or group support to students to encourage positive social, emotional, and academic development
- Collect and track data regarding student behaviors and progress toward goals
- Communicate regularly with teachers, school staff, and families about student progress
- Assist in adapting educational materials and strategies based on student needs
- Participate in school meetings and ongoing professional development
