Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RBT certification and good standing with the BACB.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or therapeutic settings preferred.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to effectively collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and adaptability when supporting students with diverse behavioral and learning needs.
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding professional and ethical standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Collect data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition, reporting findings to supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Implement ABA therapy techniques to support student growth and independence in academic and social settings.
  • Collaborate with school staff and participate in team meetings focused on behavioral strategies and student progress.
  • Assist in classroom management, reinforcing positive behaviors, and modeling appropriate social skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
