Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of ABA principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions
- Ability to collect accurate data, follow behavior intervention plans, and work under supervision of a BCBA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Adaptable, patient, and compassionate approach to supporting children of diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, reinforcing positive behaviors and assisting with academic and social skills
- Accurately collect, record, and maintain data on student progress and behavioral outcomes
- Contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team, participating in meetings and providing input on strategies and progress
- Adapt interventions in real-time to ensure student success and engagement in classroom activities
- Support and train school staff on behavior management techniques as needed
