Job Description
This role seeks a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students across various grade levels in an elementary and secondary school setting in Kalamazoo, MI. The ideal candidate will specialize in behavior intervention services, working with students from Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 to promote positive behavioral growth and enhance learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support individualized student needs.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in team meetings and provide insight regarding behavioral strategies.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
- Experience working with students in an elementary and secondary school environment.
- Ability to work effectively with children spanning early childhood through high school.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
