Candidates should bring experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or have a background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Those with RBT certification, 48 college credits, or a valid paraprofessional certification are encouraged to apply. Your work will be critical in providing direct instructional and behavioral support to students with autism, collaborating closely with teachers, and fostering positive learning experiences.
Desired Qualifications:
- RBT experience or ABA training (required)
- RBT certification, para certification, or at least 48 college credits
- Experience supporting students in special education, particularly autism programs
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach
- Ability to adapt to changing needs within a classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, delivering ABA-based interventions
- Reinforce classroom routines and behavioral expectations
- Collect and record student data to track progress
- Support lead teachers and specialists in daily lesson implementation
- Encourage student participation and celebrate milestones
- Communicate effectively with team members and families
