Job Description

This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, working with a diverse caseload that may include students with a range of behavioral needsfrom mild to more significant and potentially aggressive behaviors. Flexibility and resilience are key, as assignments across schools and ages will be determined prior to your start.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, verified through the BACB website (licenses in pending status cannot be considered)
  • Valid RBT license specifically issued by the State of Michigan
  • Experience working with students exhibiting both mild and severe behaviors, including aggressive behaviors, is highly desirable
  • Commitment to professional conduct, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing learning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students across a variety of school settings
  • Collect, record, and report data on student progress and behavioral outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with educational staff and participate in team meetings as needed
  • Adjust interventions based on observational data and team input
  • Follow all district policies and ethical guidelines
