About the Opportunity
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time, school-based position in Houston, TX for the 20262027 school year. In this role, youll work closely with students and a team of educators and specialists to support behavioral and academic success in a structured learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA
- Provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support to students
- Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behavior
- Assist in classroom management and promote positive behavior strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Support students with daily routines and social skill development
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB
- High school diploma required; associates or bachelors degree preferred
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow detailed behavior plans and maintain professionalism
