Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB website (no pending credentials)
  • Valid RBT license in Michigan
  • Experience or strong willingness to engage with students exhibiting a spectrum of behavioral challenges, including aggression
  • Flexibility to adapt to varied caseloads and possible assignments across different school sites
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the direction of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other supervising staff
  • Collect data, track student progress, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Work closely with students, families, and school staff to foster a positive learning environment
  • Assist with crisis management and de-escalation when needed, modeling calm and supportive interactions
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
