Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working 1:1 within a high school setting. Located near the scenic Hampton, NH region, this role is designed for those passionate about positively impacting young lives through evidence-based behavioral support.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans. Your daily work with high school students will help foster growth, strengthen skills, and encourage greater independence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RBT credential, in good standing
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a school or similar environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization abilities
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and best practices
- Positive, patient attitude and genuine desire to make a difference
- High school diploma (minimum); higher education related to psychology, education, or behavioral health is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 direct behavioral interventions and ABA therapy to high school students
- Collect ongoing data and accurately document student progress
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized student goals under BCBA supervision
- Support teachers and classroom staff with strategies for behavior management
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
- Engage in training, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
