Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification is required
- Experience implementing behavior intervention plans preferred
- Background working with children or adolescents, especially in a school setting, is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to maintain detailed records and confidentiality
- Flexible, adaptable, and organized
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Implement one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions based on student needs
- Collect data and maintain accurate records regarding student progress and behavior
- Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and support staff to follow behavior plans
- Support students in developing social, communication, and adaptive skills
- Use evidence-based practices to reinforce positive behaviors and encourage student participation
- Provide regular feedback to supervising staff on interventions and outcomes
- Foster a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for all learners
