Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as you support a 5th-grade student in a thriving elementary school environment as a Registered Behavior Technician or ABA therapist. This part-time, contract opportunity involves working 1:1 with a student, providing dedicated guidance and behavioral support for up to 10 hours per week over a focused 6-week period near Guilderland Center, NY.

What Youll Bring:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or experience as an ABA therapist
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, ideally in an educational or special education setting
  • Familiarity with individualized behavior intervention plans and 1:1 student support
  • Strong communication skills with students, educators, and families
  • Compassion, enthusiasm, and reliability in a school-based environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct 1:1 behavioral support to a 5th-grade student according to established intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to track student progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Collect and document data on student behaviors and interventions
  • Maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere to foster learning and development
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role
