Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | School Year Opportunity | Fredericksburg, VA Area

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a school district in the Fredericksburg, VA area to hire three Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for school-based positions supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), emotional disabilities, and developmental delays. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing one-on-one and small-group behavioral support within an educational setting. The selected candidates will work closely with students and school staff while implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Position Responsibilities
Implement academic, behavioral, and social skills programs designed by the supervising BCBA
Provide direct one-on-one and small-group support to students
Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and targeted behaviors
Utilize district-approved data tracking systems for documentation and reporting
Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and daily routines
Assist with behavior management using approved de-escalation and crisis intervention strategies
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to promote student success
Qualifications
Active and verifiable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to pass all required background screenings and child abuse registry checks
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and physically assist students when necessary
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience working as an RBT in a school, pediatric, or related setting
Experience supporting students with ASD, emotional disabilities, or developmental delays
Familiarity with behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and data collection practices
Schedule
Full-time school-based position
Monday through Friday
