Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a vibrant school setting near Federal Way, WA. In this contract position, you will play a crucial role in helping students reach their full potential by implementing effective behavioral interventions and collaborating with educators and specialists.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification
- Experience working with children or young adults, ideally in educational or behavioral support environments
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to follow prescribed behavior intervention plans with consistency and accuracy
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork
- Reliable and adaptable in dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one or group behavioral interventions to students in accordance with assigned plans
- Collect and record accurate behavioral data to inform treatment and progress
- Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and school staff to support each students goals
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage appropriate behaviors and foster a supportive learning atmosphere
- Assist in adapting materials and strategies to meet individual student needs
- Participate in ongoing team meetings and training sessions to refine skills and ensure best practices
