Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners in an autism program at the preschool and kindergarten level as a Paraprofessional. This rewarding contracted opportunity in a dynamic school setting runs through the 2026-2027 school year, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 2027. If you are a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or have ABA therapy experience and are passionate about partnering with students and educators, this role is an excellent fit.
Qualifications:
- RBT certification, ABA training, or direct RBT experience required
- Minimum of 48 college credits, a paraprofessional certificate, or RBT certification
- Experience supporting children with autism, particularly in early childhood environments
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to commit to a contracted position through the end of the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers and behavior analysts to provide hands-on support within autism-focused preschool and kindergarten classrooms
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans with patience and professionalism
- Track student progress, collect data, and participate in team meetings and virtual interviews as needed
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and structured environment to support student development and learning
- Serve as a positive role model for students and help facilitate their social, emotional, and academic growth
