Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with students within elementary, middle, or high school (K-12) preferred
- Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Open to working in a dynamic school environment near Edwardsburg, MI
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to build social, behavioral, and academic skills
- Collect and record data accurately regarding student progress and behaviors
- Model and reinforce positive behaviors consistent with each students plan
- Provide feedback and support to students while ensuring a safe and supportive learning atmosphere
- Communicate regularly with educators and support staff to review student goals and progress
