Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a school-based setting near East Granby, Connecticut. The RBT will work closely with students, teachers, and the supervising BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and promote positive behavioral and academic outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs under BCBA supervision
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to students
  • Collect and accurately document behavioral and progress data
  • Support students with social, communication, academic, and daily living skills
  • Implement evidence-based ABA strategies and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and related service providers
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate student progress to the supervising BCBA

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Previous experience working with children or students preferred
  • School-based or ABA experience preferred
  • Ability to implement behavior plans and follow BCBA direction
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to supporting students with diverse behavioral and educational needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $37.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
