Job Description

As a 1:1 Registered Behavior Technician, you'll play a key role in assisting students, supporting both their social-emotional growth and classroom success. You'll collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff, using evidence-based strategies to facilitate positive behavior change.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Experience working with high school students or within a school setting is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, student-focused approach
  • Ability to follow behavior intervention plans accurately and consistently
  • Comfortable with collaboration within a multidisciplinary team

In this role, you'll:

  • Provide direct 1:1 behavioral interventions and support to assigned high school student(s)
  • Implement ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strategies under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behavior
  • Assist with the development and modification of behavior intervention plans as needed
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding each students progress
  • Support students in both classroom and non-classroom settings to help meet their individual goals
