Job Description

Sunbelt has an immediate need for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a thirty hour per week position providing direct behavioral support services to students in the Dixon, California area. This is a great opportunity for a compassionate professional looking to make a meaningful impact through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA 
  • Providing direct one-on-one behavioral support to students, including skill acquisition and behavior modification programs
  • Monitoring and recording accurate data on student progress and behavior 
  • Communicating effectively with supervising BCBA, families, and care team members regarding student progress
  • Assisting in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA/FERPA guidelines as applicable

Qualifications:

  • Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Recent experience working with children/individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities 
  • Reliable transportation to travel within the Dixon, CA area
  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and any required health screenings
