The assignment runs from July 7, 2026, to August 6, 2026, with morning hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 am to noonmaking it a perfect fit for those seeking flexibility over the summer.
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Paraprofessional, or ABA Therapist experience required
- Associates degree or higher, or a valid Paraprofessional certificate with substantial experience working with students exhibiting mild to severe behaviors
- Prior experience supporting students with autism strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability in dynamic learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision
- Support students in academic and non-academic activities during summer programming
- Utilize data-driven strategies to track behavioral progress and make informed recommendations
- Assist with the creation of a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom setting
- Facilitate small group and one-on-one skill-building exercises
- Communicate regularly with teachers, school staff, and families about student progress
