Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Paraprofessional, or ABA Therapist experience required
  • Associates degree or higher, or a valid Paraprofessional certificate with substantial experience working with students exhibiting mild to severe behaviors
  • Prior experience supporting students with autism strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability in dynamic learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision
  • Support students in academic and non-academic activities during summer programming
  • Utilize data-driven strategies to track behavioral progress and make informed recommendations
  • Assist with the creation of a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom setting
  • Facilitate small group and one-on-one skill-building exercises
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, school staff, and families about student progress
