Key qualifications and experience:
- Active RBT certification required.
- Experience implementing behavior intervention plans with children or adolescents in a school or clinic setting.
- Strong communication skills for working closely with teachers, parents, and related service professionals.
- Thorough understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to fostering students confidence and independence.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
Essential responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one with students to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Collect, track, and summarize behavioral data for ongoing assessment.
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and school staff to adjust strategies as needed.
- Support students in classroom routines and social skill development.
- Communicate progress and concerns clearly with educators, caregivers, and specialists.
- Participate in team meetings to review outcomes and discuss best practices.
