Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work closely with a supportive school team near Cupertino, CA. This full-time assignment runs from ASAP through June 3, 2026, with potential for the next school year as well.
You'll serve as an integral part of one school community, providing 1:1 behavioral support to a male student and lending assistance to two additional students in 2nd and 3rd grade. Your ability to build strong, supportive rapport and implement behavior intervention plans will help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
- Experience providing behavior support in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Understanding of evidence-based practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and communication
- Collaborative mindset and a positive, patient approach
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:15am2:45pm
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 behavioral intervention to the primary assigned student
- Support two additional students with their behavioral programs as needed
- Collect and record data consistently and accurately
- Work alongside special education teachers, school psychologists, and related service providers
- Communicate student progress and challenges to the supervising BCBA
- Assist in adapting behavioral strategies in response to student needs
