Job Description

Opportunity available for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one support to a middle school student. Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Experience working with students or children in a behavioral or educational setting
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students achieve success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated one-on-one support to a male middle school student during school hours (35 hours per week)
  • Implement behavior management strategies to address identified student needs
  • Assist with daily tasks and classroom routines as outlined in the students plan
  • Accurately document behavioral data and progress notes for ongoing monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and therapists to support student goals
  • Model positive behavior and reinforcement techniques in the classroom setting
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
