Empower students to reach their full potential as a school-based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting grades 1 through 12. In this impactful contract position near Concord, CA, you will provide 1:1 behavioral support and intervention, making a difference in the academic and personal growth of learners across a variety of grade levels. Your expertise will foster an encouraging, inclusive environment for students of all abilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with students in 1st through 12th grade preferred
- Previous background in school-based or educational settings highly valued
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability when supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 behavioral support to students from 1st through 12th grades
- Implement and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
- Collect and document data on student progress
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and behavioral goals
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development
