Job Description
Make a real impact in students lives while developing your clinical skills as a Registered Behavior Technician working one-on-one throughout a variety of grade levels. This contract opportunity allows you to support individual students in an educational environment near Concord, CA, fostering growth and positive behavioral change. The setting provides exposure to developing effective interventions for learners from 1st through 12th grade, ensuring each day offers unique and rewarding experiences.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience providing 1:1 behavioral support in a school or youth-centered setting preferred
- Familiarity with working across a range of grade levels, from elementary to high school
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and educational teams
- Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and track student progress
- Comfort adapting strategies to fit the individual needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct 1:1 behavioral support and guidance in the classroom and school environment
- Implement ABA-based interventions and collect data according to student plans
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless support for students
- Assist in developing individualized strategies to enhance student success and independence
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reports
- Foster a positive, safe, and encouraging environment for all students
