Make a meaningful impact every day by supporting students as a full-time Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic school setting near Charleston, SC. As an RBT, you'll deliver essential 1:1 services and provide behavioral support in both resource and self-contained classrooms, helping students achieve their best.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, in good standing
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Familiarity with delivering ABA therapy and behavior intervention plans
- Ability to implement individualized plans and track progress accurately
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families
- Adaptability and professionalism in various classroom environments
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions and support to students as directed by supervising BCBA or school staff
- Implement specific behavior plans in both resource and self-contained classrooms, adjusting strategies as needed
- Prepare necessary documentation and data collection for progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student support
- Assist with classroom management and help foster a positive, inclusive environment
- Communicate progress, challenges, and successes with supervisory and instructional teams
