Job Description

Make a positive impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a collaborative school environment near Central Falls, RI. In this contract role, you will work directly with learners from kindergarten through high school, providing behavioral support and interventions to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required
  • Experience or comfort working with students in grades K-12
  • Familiarity with implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Ability to collect data and provide detailed documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptable, patient, and dedicated to student progress

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group behavioral support to students
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention strategies developed by BCBAs or school teams
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers and school staff to ensure supports are effective and consistent
  • Accurately document student behaviors and interventions using provided systems
  • Participate in team meetings to review progress and adjust interventions
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all learners
