Job Description

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Previous experience providing behavioral support to students in schools, particularly in elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), or high school (9-12) settings
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet the developmental needs of varying age groups
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and implementation in diverse classroom situations
  • Compassion, patience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, one-on-one behavioral intervention and support for students as outlined in individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor student progress, collect data, and report findings to Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other supervisory staff
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and school teams to ensure consistent and effective strategies across school settings
  • Foster a supportive, encouraging environment where students can build social and academic skills
  • Adapt quickly to changing classroom dynamics and student needs, maintaining a calm and reassuring presence
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities as available
