Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavior Specialist for a short-term contract role assisting learners with mild to severe behaviors. This position is ideal for those who are eager to make a meaningful impact during the summer.

Key highlights:

  • Contract dates: July 7 August 6
  • Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00am to 12:00pm

Youll work alongside a dedicated team, guiding students toward their goals in a positive, structured environment. Your expertise will help maximize each child's learning potential while building valuable experience in behavioral support.

Desired qualifications:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Paraprofessional, or ABA Therapist credentials
  • Associates degree or higher, or a Paraprofessional certification with several years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated background supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, including students displaying a range of behaviors
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual needs and foster a positive classroom environment

Role responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans in alignment with program goals
  • Provide compassionate, hands-on instructional and behavioral support
  • Collect behavioral data and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to tailor interventions
  • Maintain clear and professional documentation as needed
