Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Background working in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and high behavioral support needs
- Familiarity with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), accurate behavior data collection, and implementation of de-escalation strategies
- SafetyCare or similar behavioral intervention training highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities, particularly with multidisciplinary educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver intensive behavioral and academic support to students with ASD and significant communication challenges
- Implement, monitor, and document BIPs and related behavioral strategies under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Track behavioral data and progress, reporting key observations to classroom and administrative staff
- Collaborate closely with special education teachers, therapists, and support personnel to foster inclusive and effective learning environments
- Participate in safety and crisis prevention protocols as required
