Job Description

This full-time role is dedicated to making a meaningful impact by providing individualized support for one elementary student with autism in a sub-separate classroom setting. The assignment extends through the remainder of the current school year and continues into the summer, allowing you to build a lasting connection with your student while developing valuable experience.

Your background in Applied Behavior Analysis and expertise in supporting children with autism will be at the forefront, as you craft interventions and guide your students daily progress. Key Qualifications:

  • Active certification as an ABA Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Experience working within elementary school settings preferred
  • Passion for supporting students with autism in 1:1 settings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to a sub-separate classroom setting and collaborate with educators and other specialists

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized behavioral interventions and support to an elementary student with autism
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and behavior specialists
  • Collect and document data on student behavior and progress
  • Participate in team meetings and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
