Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in a school or educational setting
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to track and document behaviors accurately and thoroughly
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to supporting student growth
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Support students throughout the school day, reinforcing positive behaviors and providing redirection or interventions as needed
- Collect and record reliable data on student behavior and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote strategies for student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
- Adapt intervention strategies to meet each students unique needs and circumstances
