Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Must hold valid RBT certification in good standing
- Previous experience as an RBT in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies for children and adolescents
- Skilled in data collection, observation, and implementing individualized behavior plans
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability working with diverse student populations
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect accurate data and maintain documentation on student progress
- Support teachers and classroom staff in effective behavior management strategies
- Assist students with skill-building activities to increase independence and social success
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions
- Contribute to team meetings and provide feedback on student growth and areas for improvement
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all learners
