Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary learners as a contract ABA Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician in the Hyde Park, MA area. This long-term substitute role allows you to make a meaningful difference in the life of one elementary student with autism, working 1:1 with your student within a sub-separate classroom environment. Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA Therapy certification
- Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis techniques, especially in school settings
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and individualized education planning
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and educational staff
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting student growth
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct ABA therapy to an elementary-aged student in a sub-separate classroom
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect accurate data and maintain thorough documentation of student progress and behavioral occurrences
- Collaborate with team members to adjust strategies and goals as needed to best serve the student's needs
- Assist with transitions, classroom routines, and other school activities to foster an inclusive and structured environment
