Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a dynamic K-12 environment. This full-time, onsite contract role involves working with a team dedicated to promoting positive behaviors and meaningful change in students educational experiences. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through May 2027, offering consistent hours and the opportunity to make a real difference.

What Youll Need:

  • Active RBT certification is required
  • At least 2 years of direct experience working with students in a school setting
  • Familiarity providing 1:1 behavioral support as well as floating between classrooms
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, aides, and other support staff
  • Adaptability to serve both K-12 settings and specialized behavioral environments

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing 1:1 behavioral support to students at the elementary level, ensuring individualized programs are followed with fidelity
  • Floating between multiple K-12 classrooms to offer behavioral interventions where needed
  • Working collaboratively with another RBT and paraprofessional when assigned to classrooms
  • Collecting data, monitoring student progress, and assisting in the implementation of behavioral intervention plans
  • Maintaining professional documentation and ensuring adherence to ethical standards
