Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a dynamic, inclusive school district near Boston, MA. Work full-time, 32.5 hours per week, within the window of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with scheduling varying based on school needs. This contract position starts as soon as possible and extends 8-12 weeks, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or behavioral support setting
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and environments
  • Reliability and a professional, compassionate demeanor

Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collect data on student behaviors and progress, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Deliver one-on-one or small group behavioral support within classroom and school settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to promote positive behavior and student growth
  • Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings as required
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all students
