Your expertise as an RBT will be highly valued as you implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and contribute to a nurturing atmosphere where students can thrive. Guide a caseload of students under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring that individualized treatment plans are followed and goals are met.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Previous experience working with children or in school settings preferred
- Ability to collect data methodically and communicate effectively
- Collaborative team player, with flexibility and adaptability
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and encouraging learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Directly implement ABA-based interventions for assigned students
- Accurately record data on student progress and report findings
- Support IEP goals and behavioral objectives alongside educators and therapists
- Participate in team meetings to provide feedback and updates
- Promote positive behavior and independence for students
- Engage with families, caregivers, and school professionals as appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
