Job Description
Make a meaningful impact working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting students in a school environment near Billings, MT. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RBT certification required
- Experience working with children or adolescents, particularly within educational settings
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data collection
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Strong organizational, communication, and observational skills
- Compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans
- Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behavior
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and other professionals to adapt strategies and approaches as needed
- Support the development of social, academic, and emotional skills for students
- Participate in required training and ongoing professional development sessions
- Communicate regularly and transparently with stakeholders regarding student progress and observed challenges
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment for all students
