Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle school students as a Registered Behavior Technician on a full-time contract basis. This assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the academic year, and you'll be dedicated to one school, allowing you to build meaningful rapport with students and staff. Your expertise will make a difference for young learners needing positive behavioral support and intervention strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RBT certification required
- Previous experience working with children or middle school-age students highly valued
- Strong understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and school staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt and respond to diverse student needs with compassion
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy to middle-school students
- Collect and record data consistently for student progress tracking
- Collaborate closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), educators, and families
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as outlined
- Support classroom management and student engagement efforts
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance student outcomes
