Step into a meaningful contract role working onsite as a Registered Behavior Technician in a supportive educational setting near Berkeley, CA for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. Youll focus on delivering vital behavioral support to a high school caseload, collaborating with other professionals and making a difference in students daily lives.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) national certification
- Previous experience working with high school students is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student behavior strategies
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere in the classroom
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
