Desired Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or relevant paraprofessional experience in educational settings
- Experience working with students in K-12 environments, especially those with behavioral or developmental support needs
- Ability to implement behavioral intervention strategies under supervision of BCBA or specialist staff
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and teaching teams
- Adaptability and patience in dynamic classroom environments
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral and educational support to students in one-on-one or group settings
- Assist teachers and specialists in implementing individualized education and behavioral plans
- Collect, record, and report data regarding student progress or behavioral observations
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP or intervention discussions as needed
