Key qualifications and experience:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
  • Prior experience working with children/adolescents in an educational, behavioral health, or similar setting preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to collect, record, and summarize data on student progress
  • Knowledge of evidence-based behavior intervention strategies
  • Positive attitude, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, behavior analysts, and families

Primary responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Support students with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental differences
  • Track and report student progress, noting behavioral trends as directed
  • Assist with social, emotional, and functional skills teaching
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and families as needed
