Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Background or training as a Paraprofessional in school settings preferred
- Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions with children or adolescents
- Successfully pass background check requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to follow individualized education and behavior intervention plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one or small group behavioral supports under supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or special education teams
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed
- Accurately collect, record, and report behavioral and instructional data
- Promote a safe, supportive environment for students to reach their behavioral and academic goals
- Support students with daily classroom activities and personal care when necessary
- Contribute to school-wide positive behavior support systems
