Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Prior experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and significant behavioral/communication needs
  • Hands-on familiarity with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), data tracking, and de-escalation strategies
  • SafetyCare training is highly valued
  • Demonstrated strength in collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver intensive behavioral and classroom support to high-needs students as part of the educational team
  • Follow and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans and track behavioral data consistently
  • Contribute to a positive, structured classroom climate through proactive support and effective intervention strategies
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and school staff to adapt support as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
