Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois PT or PTA license is required
  • Experience working as a Physical Therapist or PTA in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to suit individual student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students, ensuring individualized therapeutic support
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, related service providers, and families to support students educational goals
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed for best outcomes
  • Support a variety of needs across the school, helping to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all students
