Qualifications:
- Current Illinois PT or PTA license is required
- Experience working as a Physical Therapist or PTA in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and students
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to suit individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students, ensuring individualized therapeutic support
- Work collaboratively with teachers, related service providers, and families to support students educational goals
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed for best outcomes
- Support a variety of needs across the school, helping to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all students
