Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students across multiple schools in Morrow County. As a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant, youll play a vital role in supporting students mobility and growth, working with a diverse caseload and collaborating with educational staff.

This full-time itinerant position offers 37.5 hours per week, with the current assignment running through June 12thand a strong likelihood of continuing into the next school year. Youll enjoy the variety of rotating between 5-6 schools near Pendleton, building connections and providing essential therapy to students who benefit most from your expertise. The caseload currently sits in the 50s but is expected to decrease, allowing you to make an even greater impact with each student.

Desired qualifications:

  • Active Oregon PT or PTA license
  • Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
  • Comfort with completing assessments, evaluations, and direct student therapy
  • Ability to attend and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services according to each students IEP
  • Conduct assessments and ongoing evaluations
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and educational teams
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Travel between assigned schools within the county
