Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in California
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to implement physical therapy plans and support the supervising Physical Therapists directives
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering physical therapy interventions to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support the development of students mobility, strength, and functional independence within the educational environment
- Document student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and district policy
- Collaborate with physical therapists, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Adapt activities and materials to meet the diverse needs of students in the school setting
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
